Check-in time is 3 PM-5 PM.
This is to ensure each Guest's experience wonderful, and so that staff has time to properly prepare for each reservation.
Alternate check-in times may be prearranged with Red Lantern B&B staff. Please reach out as early as possible to arrange a check-in time or a late depature.
RLB&B tries to be as flexible as possible, but can not guarantee alternate arrival and departure times.
We ask ALL reservations to please contact us via text, email, or voicemail to establish an estimated arrival time, or ETA, even if you plan to arrive withing the 3-5 check-in window. It is very helpful and greatly appreciated.
You are on vacation, and we don't want you to feel rushed or stressed.
We do want to make sure your check-in experience is efficient, seamless, and personalized. It only takes a few minutes and is for the comfort of the Guests.
Most importantly, we want you to make yourself at home and have a comfortable stay.
We understand, especially for guests arriving via The GAP Trail, an exact arrival time may not be known, and cell service can be very limited, making it difficult to contact us.
Estimated arrival time (ETA) is greatly appreciated, via voicemail, text, or email.
We are a family owed B&B, not staffed 24/7, like a hotel. Contacting us ahead of time will ensure someone is available to grant you access to the property, check you in, give you a tour, give assistance with luggage, discuss breakfast options, and answer any questions you may have. The process is quick, usually around 5-10 minutes and is to ensure a wonderful experience.
We can't guarantee to be here outside of the normal check-in window, without a heads up.
We can be flexible regarding alternate check-in times, but a quick voicemail, text, or email is greatly appreciated and very helpful for you, as well as us.
Please, just give us a quick message, letting us know your planned arrival time, and keep us in the loop if anything changes.
If you leave a voicemail, text message, or email, and do not get a reply back from us, we may not have received your message. Please resend it. We will reply promptly if/when we receive your message, usually within 24 hours.
If you establish a preapproved check-in time, outside of the 3-5 PM window, that established approved check-in time will be the time your room will be available for check-in. Please let us know if that preapproved arrival time changes.
If your ETA changes, please let us know.
Please contact us prior to your check-in date, if you plan on having luggage service drop off your bags, to ensure someone is on hand to receive and secure your luggage. Not all luggage services inform us of their pending arrival, so we may not be aware they are coming and may not be on property without a heads up. In this case, luggage can be stored on the front porch where there is video surveillance, until staff arrives.
Fees may apply to early or late check-ins and late departures.
All policies are in place to ensure the safety and comfort of all of our Guests, most importantly, make yourself at home.
A confirmation email containing tons of important information will be sent to the email address provided, after making a reservation. If you do not see this email, check your spam or junk folder. If you still do not receive this email, please let us know, ASAP. Other emails, containing important information regarding your reservation will be sent close to your reservation date.
